Brian’s radio broadcasting career began in the summer of 1981, in his hometown of Wenatchee, WA. He has been in Yakima since 1995. Brian has been involved in all aspects of the radio business and has owned, operated and managed radio stations….On-air personality on various formats – including Talk radio, Classic Hits, All- Byzantine-All-The-Time and Country, the format where he began and where he feels at home.
Best job: Being a Dad and Papa. Toughest and most important job too. But I love it!
Hobbies: Golf. Craft Beer. Acting. I have appeared in numerous shows at The Warehouse Theatre & Akin Center Theatre – including: “The Odd Couple”, “The Crucible”, “Every Christmas Story Ever Told, And Then Some” and Directed the award-winning “I Hate Hamlet”. I am Past President of the Warehouse Theatre Board of Directors, and Past President of the Humane Society of Central Washington Board of Directors.
QUICK FUN FACT:
- Before getting into the radio biz – He was in a punk rock band, sold everything he owned except his guitar, moved to New York to try to get signed to a label. He was chewed up and spit out and crawled back to Washington State. (1981) Then Radio Happened.
Farley started in radio at 16 years old working weekends in Alexandria, MN and he's been at it ever since. Hes a proud father and an everyday sports-loving, beer drinking, easy-going guy.
Steve Leonard is a Washington native, a WSU grad, and is happy to be in the Yakima Valley. Steve is a proud music nerd and studied music in colleges. Steve, an Eagle Scout, enjoys outdoor activities, including camping, hiking and snowboarding.
