Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood

Set to host 2012 CMA Awards

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return for the fifth year to serve as hosts for the 46th Annual CMA Awards! The two superstars, who began serving as co-hosts in 2008, have already begun preparations for the upcoming show.

The "Remind Me" duet partners have proven to have great chemistry, not to mention great comedic chops, in years past, making the decision to re-hire them for a fifth year a no-brainer. "We couldn't ask for better hosts than Carrie and Brad," CMA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moore said. "They have the unique qualities of humor, talent, credibility, and natural rapport that makes them a hit with the fans and the industry audience. The CMA Awards are in great hands with Brad and Carrie at the podium."

Brad and Carrie may be the new favorite hosting team, but they are still a long way from Vince Gill's record of 12 consecutive years as host of the CMA Awards. Vince hosted every year from 1992 to 2003.

The 46th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on November 1 at 7:00 PM ET on ABC. What would you like to see on the show? Watch Carrie Underwood's New "Blown Away" Video below:
